Here at Rock the Boat, we take our hat (beanie?) off to everyone involved in running the Pairs Head this weekend, and all those taking part.
Getting competition going again has been no feat and whilst some may not be ready to compete, there is clear depend from plenty of rowers in the UK for forms of competition that are possible.
The Pairs Head Committee have not let a global pandemic nor the closure of a bridge on their course get in the way of running their competition and, on behalf of the rowing community, we salute the organisers for their efforts against all the odds!
To all of the competitors - enjoy that amazing feeling of racing again. Who pairs wins!
