Please read these carefully. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Sales of Goods Act but are designed to show the principles by which we operate. At all times we aim to act fairly, reasonably and honestly and goodwill is important to us.
Currency & Pricing
All prices on this website are quoted in GB pounds sterling. Please refer to a currency converter for what this means in your local currency. Payments must be made in GB pounds sterling - credit card sales will be charged in your local currency by your provider at the appropriate rate of exchange and may incur a currency conversion charge). We reserve the right to change our prices at any time.
VAT (Value Added Tax)
Rock the Boat Clothing Limited is registered for VAT (822022384). VAT at the prevailing rate has been added to all prices shown on our website. VAT is charged to all EU residents and for all deliveries within the EU. If you are shopping from outside the EU then the VAT will be deducted from the costs you pay. For information, VAT is currently 20% except for children's wear which is zero-rated.
Duties and Local Taxes
You are responsible for any local duties or taxes which may be incurred on your shopping. A commercial invoice is provided with all goods.
Payments
We accept payment via a variety of methods but recommend for on-line shopping that you use the secure payment service Shopify Payments. This means that Rock the Boat doesn't see any of your payment card details and we simply receive notification that funds have transferred from you to us. If you would prefer to pay over the telephone that is fine, and we will look after your payment card information securely (see our privacy policy). If you would prefer to send a cheque in GB sterling only then that is good too. Your shopping will be sent out when your cheque is received.
Delivery
Please see our delivery information page for the specifics. We will always send goods out as soon as possible and aim to do this within 2 working days of receiving a confirmed and paid for order. Delivery in the UK is by 1st class royal mail and overseas is by airmail. For an additional charge we can use premium services.
Returns
In addition to your statutory rights as a consumer, we have a 14 day no quibble guarantee for unworn and unused products returned in such a condition that we can resell them (for shopping in December we understand this is probably a gift and the returns policy is extended to end of January). If you need to send your shopping back to us for exchange or refund please include a note with your name, address and what action you would like us to take (eg: please exchange for size Z / please refund to my card). It would help us if you would tell us why it is being returned (unwanted gift, colour not right etc) but this is not necessary.
All you need to do is send the garment / product back to us (but we recommend you get free proof of posting as it is still your property until it is safely here) and we will act on it as soon as it arrives here.
We regret that we are unable to refund postage for delivery and returned items except in the unlikely event that the original goods are faulty. If you have requested an exchange we do not charge again to send out the exchanged item.
Cancellation of your order
If you change your mind after placing an order please contact us as soon as possible so that we can prevent it leaving Rock the Boat and incurring delivery and return costs. If the goods have already been sent then please follow the standard returns procedure. Unfortunately once the goods are sent you are still liable for the delivery and return postage costs.
Product Availability
Although we endeavour to keep safe stock levels, sometimes we are caught out and the product you order may not be in stock. If this happens we will telephone or email you to give you the opportunity to amend your order or discuss likely delivery dates. We will not send you substitute goods without discussing this with you first.

We make every effort to ensure that images and descriptions on our website are accurate and up-to-date. However, we can not guarantee an exact match to the image which appears on your screen!

Rock the Boat Clothing Limited conforms to, and is registered under, the UK Data Protection Act. Please see our privacy policy. If at any time you wish to be removed from our mailing lists then please contact us.

Our designs and ideas are all under copyright and our logos are protected by trade mark. No permission is given by us for reproduction or use for injurious or commercial purposes of any of our brand names, product names, designs or any other material on our website or in our marketing brochures. All rights are reserved.
Applicable Law
All transactions and use of this website are governed by the Law of England and will be deemed to have occurred in the UK and all parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
